We had an amazing time staying here with friends! The themed rooms were delightful and the hosts were super friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh ingredients that hit the spot. It’s a great jumping-off point for visiting Death Valley and Vegas. Keep in mind the best way to find it is to use GPS coordinates or follow the milemarkers at night.
One thing to note is that finding it at night can be tricky if you don't have the GPS coordinates. We had a minor struggle getting there, but it was worth it for the experience once we arrived.

What a find! The Shady Lady really captured my heart. The atmosphere felt like stepping back into a charming piece of history with its eclectic decor. The peacocks roaming around added a unique charm, though their screeching could get a bit loud at times. My room, the Marquee Peacock, featured a beautiful in-room tub and was well-decorated, creating a cozy sanctuary. Breakfast was made to order and really hit the spot—Eggs, sausage, fruit, and toast. Plus, they offered complimentary wine and beer, which made lounging by the pool even better after a long drive. I did encounter some minor issues, though. The shower head didn’t provide great water pressure, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the bed squeaked slightly whenever I moved, but it didn’t ruin my enjoyment. Navigating to the location at night can be tricky, so keep that in mind when planning your trip. Overall, I truly loved my stay at this unique desert gem.

The stars were incredible, and the home-cooked breakfast really hit the spot. The peacocks wandering around just added to the charm of the place.
In my wife's opinion, more space for the kids would be beneficial.

Eclectic decor gave a unique vibe. Location is pretty remote, with the nearest food a long drive away. Great stargazing opportunities and friendly hosts made for a warm atmosphere. Had a decent breakfast, but the room cleanliness needs improvement.

Unique decor that tells a story with each room, especially the Asia room and private cabin. The roaming peacocks add a quirky charm to the overall ambiance, making the stay memorable. Homemade breakfast featuring fresh ingredients and complimentary self-service beverages set a welcoming tone every morning.
Finding the B&B after dark can be a challenge due to its remote location, requiring a navigation plan ahead of time. Some guests noted issues like difficulties with water pressure in the shower and the thin walls making it easy to hear others. The quirky charm might not be for everyone, particularly if you prefer more contemporary accommodations.
